Registration includes TWO LIVE patient experiences!
Attendees will be awarded 14 hours of DCE
DAY 1:
The scientific differences between ceramic implants and titanium implants.
Data on integration success rates.
Case selection criteria including ideal tissue and bone volumes needed for success.
Prevention and management of complications.
Review of surgical protocols and how they differ from Titanium implants.
The advantages and requirements of implanting immediately
Why peri-implantitis is not an issue for ceramic implants
Specifics of prosthodontics for ceramic implants
Temporization on ceramic implants
Marketing to find patients searching for a Metal Free Implant option.
Using the Science of Influence and Persuasion to increase case acceptance for ceramic dental implants in your practice.
The afternoon session will include model work and placement of a dummy ceramic implant.
DAY 2:
Each attendee will work with a patient to place one immediate ceramic implant and one delayed zirconia, implant regardless of their state license.
Each attendee will assist another participant for their surgery.
End of day review and discussion of all cases placed that day.
You will assist or observe 2-4 ceramic implant surgeries and get to place two implants on a live patient.
Dr. Sammy Noumbissi
Dr. Noumbissi obtained his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Howard University in Washington DC. He was then selected to attend the prestigious Loma Linda University Graduate Program in Implant Dentistry. There he received three years of formal training in dental implantology which culminated with a certificate in Implant Dentistry and a Master of Science degree in Implant Surgery. He is a researcher, author and has published book chapters and articles in implant dentistry and ceramic implants in peer reviewed dental journals. He is a visiting professor at the University of Milan, the University of Chiety-Pescara in Italy and visiting researcher in the materials department at INSA Lyon in France. Dr. Noumbissi is the founder and current president of the International Academy of Ceramic Implantology which is an independent association focused on metal free and ceramic implantology. He is a fellow and Ambassador at the Clean Implant Foundation whose mission is to assess production quality and purity of commercially available dental implant surfaces. Dr. Noumbissi has been practicing and educating dentists on metal free implantology since 2009. His practice is in Silver Spring, Maryland USA.
Dr. Corbin Popp
Corbin grew up in small-town Nebraska hanging around his father’s dental office. He was driven and naturally excelled in science and math. His strengths led him to a biochemistry degree at the University of Nebraska where he graduated with honors. In a pure twist against convention, Corbin accepted the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship and headed off to Germany, putting his plans for dentistry on hold while he pursued a career as a professional dancer. After performing on Broadway and internationally for 10 years, Corbin joined the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. Graduating top of his class, he went on to earn Resident of the Year from the Graduate Practice Residency at the University of Colorado Anschutz. Dr. Popp’s clinical expertise encompasses surgical management of infected root canal teeth, ischemic bone cavities/cavitations, Bone Building Augmentation BBA concept, zirconia/ceramic implant placement, and Bioesthetic (OBI) full mouth rehabilitation and jaw stabilization. Dr. Corbin Popp has undergone extensive training in the Swiss Biohealth Academy led by Dr. Ulrich Volz and is recognized as a leader in biological dentistry as well as Dr. Frank Zastro a leader in the BBA concept. Outside the office he enjoys time outdoors, riding his bike, ballet, and spending time with his wife, three adorable children, and their dog Bonnie Brae.
Dr. Chris Phelps
Dr. Christopher Phelps is an entrepreneur, general dentist, and an amazon best-selling author of the book, Grow Your Dental Membership Plan and The COMPLETE Book On Dental Marketing. He is a certified Kolbe Trainer and is also an expert in the science of ethical influence and persuasion having received his Cialdini Method Certified Trainer (CMCT) certification under acclaimed behavioral scientist, Dr. Robert Cialdini. He currently practices in Charlotte NC and is the cohost of The Marketing Mindset Podcasts. He is the founder and president of Golden Goose Scheduling, The Phelps Institute, Your Marketing CEO, Dental Membership Direct and is a lead trainer at Sunrise Dental Solutions. Golden Goose Scheduling helps practices answer and schedule more new patient calls while reactivating patients who are overdue for hygiene care. The Phelps Institute was founded to train Dentists in both the clinical and business aspects of running their practice.
